I could not believe I’m turning 19 in
a week six days .
I read somewhere (or I would like to believe it’s Paris Hilton who said it) that you should be in your best shape at 18. It’s only a week before I leave that magical number, and I’m still too far from the perfect body shape. Rejection No. 1.
I once planned to throw a Disney themed party for my 19th birthday to signify my last teenage year. But school work got into the way, I wasn’t able to go home since January and I have another party scheduled on my birthday. No. It’s not for me. It’s a party I’m organizing. (Plugging: If you’re a present/alumni ROTC cadet, you should come.) Rejection No. 2.
I have no sunny, princess-y nor Disneyfied plans on March 6 nor do I expect rainbows, butterflies and tiaras to come into my way but I really do hope that everything will come into place. It’s been a tough year, so far. I’ve been on the lowest of downs yet I think I managed to get back in the race. I was able to work my ass off this year, and so far, we’ve been doing great.
Now I’m positive that I could be at my best shape before I turn nineteen and I could throw a Disney themed party on my 20th birthday.
More birthday posts to follow :)
